There was a model in the seventies that was everywhere: Jerry Hall. In that decade only a few could say that they came to star in more than 40 magazine covers like Vogue or Cosmopolitan. This one that has been versioned by the artist Maria Herreros is one of the better known. Hall appears with a telephone inside her bathing cap. A challenging, fresh attitude, to present the summer trends. Now, this limited edition silkscreen signed by Herreros pays tribute to this pop iconography of the mythical female magazine, but with a reflexive point of viwe: "The outdated definition of beauty, that continues today, is revealed in the covers of the bible of fashion since 1892. Being the limits of the beautiful the basis of my work, I have always been fascinated by the covers of Vogue and I have used them a lot of times in my work as a vehicle to portray the time, the tastes, the society ".
